Nine scouts and a mom cleared two acres of dense Garlic Mustard growth Saturday, around the parking lot where Twin Ponds Trail ends at Route 117—where the Sugar Shack used to be. They crammed their kill into 20 lawn bags which will be picked up by the Conservation Department truck Sunday or Monday. The scouts were Ben L, Bryce, James, Kent, Michael, Nate, Owen, Peter and Will T. The hardworking mom was Marion Crean. The did themselves and their troop proud.
