Even though the 7th grade scouts were away at Sargent Camp, our October 17th troop meeting was well attended and greatly enjoyed. It began with a game outside, where the field was dry and the weather just crisp enough. Nate structured the meeting well, and a flock of adults pitched in to help. Sarah L brought the ingredients for the boys to make their own burritos, which were delicious. Marige bought advancement patches at the scout store and worked with David and Hiroshi to sort them out and write names on the cards. Nate and Henry directed a physical-fitness session, and then the COH. Ian brought his sewing machine and helped any scouts wanting to sew a new patch on his uniform.
