Scouts braved the rain Saturday to place flags and flowers beside the gravestones of Lincoln’s veterans at all three town cemeteries. They returned on Monday to set up chairs on the library lawn for the spectators of the Memorial Day ceremony, then marched in the parade.
Ben P helped the veterans color guard by carrying the American flag, and two Webelo II’s, Enzo and Nathan, helped place the ceremonial wreath at the foot of the eagle statue.
After replacing the chairs in the library and in Bemis Hall, scouts and parents attended the American Legion cookout.
