The troop has a ski trip planned for March 16-18 at Wildcat Mountain in Pinkham Notch, NH. We will be staying at the Joe Dodge Lodge, an Appalachian Mountain Club property in Pinkham Notch, and about a three minute drive to the base of the mountain. We plan to leave Lincoln by 4:00 on Friday, March 16. We will ski or board Saturday March 17 and Sunday March 18 and return to Lincoln at approximately 7:30pm on Sunday. For those who have not skiied before, Wildcat offers some good beginner terrain and full ski equipment rental packages. For the hotshot skiiers, Wildcat offer some good, challenging runs.
Ski equipment can be rented at Wildcat. Scout policy requires that helmets be worn.
The trip permission slip can be downloaded here. It should be signed by parents and returned to the next troop meeting.
